Laurine M. Garrity

Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer

Laurine M. Garrity is responsible for brand management, advertising, media planning and buying, client loyalty and consumer insights and public relations.

Garrity joined Schwab as Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer in February, 2011.

Prior to joining Schwab, she was Chief Marketing Officer at TD Ameritrade where she oversaw their marketing strategy including television, print and online advertising, brand management, client marketing and database management and acquisition. Previously at TD Ameritrade she led Marketing Program Development, overseeing the development of marketing programs, all educational operational and regulator client communications, investor education initiatives, direct mail and web site content.

From 1993 to 2005 Garrity worked in marketing within the mutual fund industry, including Invesco Funds, Founders Asset Management, and Dreyfus Corporation. She began her career in advertising agencies including Saatchi & Saatchi, the William Esty Company, Levine, Huntley, Schmidt and Beaver, DDB Needham, and Karsh & Hagan Advertising.

Garrity has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Barnard College-Columbia University. She holds her Series 7 and 24 securities registrations.
