Ron Carter

Executive Vice President, Operational Services

Ron Carter is responsible for overseeing the organization which handles all operational transactions for clients currently doing business with Charles Schwab & Co., Inc.

Carter has been with Schwab for twenty-four years and during that time has held a variety of different roles including positions in the retail branch network, project management, and mutual funds marketing.

Prior to his current role, he was senior vice president of Solution Services, and before that, was senior vice president of Schwab Institutional Service & Trading, overseeing the service teams that provided direct client support to more than 6,000 investment managers. Carter has also led the Mutual Fund Client Services Group and the Correspondent Clearing division. He transitioned to Operational Services in December 2008.

He earned his bachelor’s degree from California State Hayward University
