Schwab provides financial support to qualifying nonprofit organizations in a variety of ways – through direct grants, event sponsorships and employee matching gifts. Since its founding in 1993, Charles Schwab Foundation has made contributions averaging $4 million a year to more than 2,300 nonprofit organizations. Through the separate Schwab Community Services organization, the company also promotes financial literacy and volunteerism.
