Hiring Process

If you have the qualities and experience we’re looking for, a Schwab recruiter will contact you to begin the hiring process.

1. Initial Screening

The first step is to schedule a preliminary phone interview to help us learn more about your background and interests. This is also an opportunity for you to learn more about the job and ask questions.

2. In-Person Interview

After the initial screening, you may be invited for an in-person interview, which gives you the opportunity to share more detailed information about your experience, talents and skills. It's also a great time to ask questions that will help you learn more about working at Schwab.

Because Schwab places great value on relationships and is a team-oriented environment, you may be asked to meet with a variety of people, including the hiring manager, potential colleagues and business partners. These different perspectives all contribute to our evaluation and help you determine if Schwab is the place for you.

Following these in-person interviews, your Schwab recuiter may provide feedback and discuss possible next steps.

3. Job Offer

If you demonstrate you have what it takes to make a difference for our clients, we may invite you to join our team. A written offer letter will provide details of your total compensation package, work hours, location and other details.

4. Joining Schwab

You’ll be supported by a structured on-boarding program to help you build a solid foundation for success and become productive and engaged in your new role.
