When hiring Financial Consultants (FCs), Schwab looks for people with the highest ethical standards who take pride in their work and want to help individual investors succeed. We place a premium on high performance, quality service, and the ability to execute the Schwab strategy.
Job requirements for FCs include:
- Undergraduate degree
- Series 7 and 66 certification
- Three or more years of proactive, successful sales experience in the financial services industry
- Outstanding communication skills
- Comprehensive industry and client solution knowledge
- Relationship and client retention experience and success
For applicants with five or more years in financial services, including at least two years in a management role, the position of Branch Manager offers the opportunity to coach and counsel a local team of Financial Consultants. Branch managers are responsible for establishing strategies and plans designed to ensure that asset and service targets are met. Your general management and leadership skills will be used to provide direction and deliver results.
