Fund-Raising Events and Drives

Schwab employees support their communities by organizing and participating in special fund-raising events for local nonprofit organizations, including walk-a-thons, cycling events, races and more. Our employees raise thousands of dollars each year for organizations supporting heart and cardiovascular health, breast cancer research, leukemia and lymphoma research, diabetes and AIDS prevention, and much more.

Each fall, Schwab also conducts companywide drives to collect food, clothing, toys, school supplies and other items for those in need.

Back-to-school drives have contributed thousands of essential school supplies, which are distributed to local organizations, elementary schools, centers for child protection and women's shelters.

Coat drives have collected hundreds of coats for the One Warm Coat drive.

Food drives have garnered thousands of pounds of non-perishable food items for local food banks in key U.S. cities.

Holiday toy drives have collected thousands of toys and books to help make the holidays brighter for needy children.

We also have a long-standing relationship with Project Night Night, an organization that collects stuffed animals, books and security blankets to create individual tote bags for children in homeless shelters. The organization provides "comfort items" that a homeless child rarely owns, including a stuffed animal, a security blanket and an age-appropriate book.
