Volunteer Week

During Schwab Volunteer Week each May, thousands of employees receive paid time off to team up with colleagues and volunteer for nonprofits such as:

  • Boys & Girls Clubs of America
  • Dress for Success
  • Habitat for Humanity
  • Junior Achievement
  • Project Night Night
  • Larkin Street Youth Services

Charles Schwab Foundation also donates a minimum $500 grant to each organization where a Schwab Volunteer Week project is held. Nearly 150 projects are sponsored each year.

The Charles Schwab Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, private foundation that is not part of Charles Schwab & Co., Inc. or its parent company, The Charles Schwab Corporation.
The Charles Schwab Foundation and the Charles Schwab Corporation and affiliates are unaffiliated with the above referenced organizations.

"This year’s Volunteer Week was inspired by our collective passion here at Schwab to break down barriers for people and help them make strides toward financial well-being. Whether it’s leading a workshop on financial basics at a local Boys & Girls Club or helping Habitat for Humanity build a home for a family in need, our goal is to make a difference in as many people’s lives as we can."
— Carrie Schwab-Pomerantz, President, Charles Schwab Foundation
