Dan Skiles is vice president of client technology consulting at Schwab Institutional®, the enterprise committed to helping independent investment advisors grow, compete and succeed.  Skiles oversees a team of technology consultants focused on helping investment advisors apply technology to their businesses to improve the overall efficiency of their independent firms.


Skiles plays an instrumental role in the planning and design of future Schwab Institutional technology products on behalf of advisors doing business with Schwab. He also works closely with Schwab Performance Technologies®, a subsidiary of The Charles Schwab Corporation, in the planning and development of technology portfolio management system solutions.


Before joining Schwab in 2001, Skiles worked for Jack White and Company (which was purchased by TD Waterhouse in 1998), where he was responsible for implementing technology for investment advisor clients. In his eight years with those firms, he managed numerous teams responsible for a variety of technology solutions for advisors.


Skiles has a bachelor’s degree from San Diego State University, where he is pursuing a Master of Business Administration degree.
