Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer
Andy Gill serves as Schwab’s Chief Marketing Officer and is the head of the Marketing, Data and Financial Research functions. Gill is responsible for building the Schwab brand and fueling growth through communication and outreach to clients, prospects, influencers and employees. Gill also oversees Schwab’s Data Solutions where he is responsible for data governance and utilization of information as an asset and Schwab’s data office. He continues to lead the Schwab Center for Financial Research, Schwab Charitable™ and the Charles Schwab Foundation.
Prior to this position, Gill lead Schwab’s Client & Data Solutions team, bringing together many of Schwab’s product, advisory and data solutions, as well as market expertise. Gill’s areas of focus included product platforms for ETFs, mutual funds, fixed income, managed account solutions, alternative investments, insurance services, and cash and margin lending products, as well as the Schwab Center for Financial Research, Schwab Charitable and the Charles Schwab Foundation.
Previously, Gill held many executive leadership roles at Schwab including executive vice president and co-leader of Investor Services where he was responsible for driving growth of Schwab’s retail enterprise and executive vice president of Charles Schwab Investment Management, Inc. where he led growth strategies and efforts in distributing Schwab Funds®, Laudus Funds® and Schwab ETFs™.
Prior to joining Schwab, he was chief marketing officer at Cofiniti, a wealth management software company serving financial service institutions and at Rx.com, an online pharmacy. Gill also held various roles at Genesco, Inc., a men’s wholesale and retail footwear company and at Procter and Gamble in sales management and brand management.
Gill holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from Wake Forest University, Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
