“Not only am I surrounded by coworkers who are very intelligent and driven, but I have all the resources available to me that will help me succeed in my career.”
Eric Udvari, Financial Consultant Assistant, Boise, Idaho Branch
It has long been our belief that the service we offer our clients sets us apart from our competitors. As we plan for significant growth in the future, maintaining a strong network of financial consultants who see the world Through Clients’ Eyes remains a high priority.
The Schwab Financial Consultant Academy is a developmental rotational program that prepares individuals for a career as a financial consultant in one of our branches.
Current and former Financial Consultant Academy participants talk about their experiences with the program and how it’s helping them shape fulfilling careers.
"I was excited to start. When I got here, I just had this sensation that something big is happening here and that I'm really lucky to be a part of it."
"I'm a new grad and that's a big transition. But what I’m finding is that I can really be myself here."
"It can be challenging as a woman in this male-dominated industry, but Schwab values our perspective and I'm looking forward to working with the many clients who prefer a female advisor."
"Relocating to the contact center for the FC Academy turned out to be a valuable experience because of the many strong connections I developed while in the program."
"The FC Academy is an impressive collaboration of cross-organization management, varied experiences, and exposure to the key groups involved in a successful FC practice. I’m thankful for the opportunity."
"Having a coach who has had a career as a Financial Consultant was very important to me. I want to learn from someone who has already been successful in the role."
