Jonathan S. Beatty

Jon Beatty is Managing Director, Head of Advisor Services and a member of Charles Schwab's Executive Committee. He oversees the business that provides custodial, operational, and trading support to more than 15,000 independent investment advisory firms with over $4 trillion in assets under management. In addition to custody services, Schwab Advisor Services™ provides practice management and consultative support to help independent advisors start, build, and grow their firms.

Beatty has dedicated his career to working with independent advisors. He joined Schwab 27 years ago and has held sales and leadership positions within Advisor Services. Beatty has been a member of the Advisor Services leadership team for more than 15 years. Prior to his current role, Beatty served as Chief Operating Officer for Schwab Advisor Services™.

Before joining Schwab, Beatty was a registered representative with Great Western Securities. He has a bachelor's degree in political science from Wittenberg University. He is registered with the National Association of Securities Dealers, Inc. and holds Series 7 and 9/10 registrations.
