Mitch Mantua

Mitch leads the function that provides an independent and objective appraisal of the company's business operations and helps the company meet its commitment to operating discipline.

Before joining Schwab, Mitch was a partner at Ernst & Young LLP in the Financial Services Advisory group. His primary focus was assisting clients with their internal audit and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance groups. In this capacity, he served several Fortune 500 companies. Prior to working at Ernst & Young, Mitch worked in various finance and operational roles at startup companies, including as controller and director of Asia Pacific Operations. He has over 25 years of international finance and operations experience in the financial services, software, and consumer products industries.

Mitch earned his undergraduate degree in accounting from St. Mary's College of California. He is a Certified Public Accountant, licensed in California.
