Schwab Volunteer Week 2019

SVW Intro
Whether it’s helping our clients or supporting local nonprofits, Schwab employees have always been committed to service. What began over a decade ago as an annual day of service has evolved into a dedicated week of volunteerism across the firm: Schwab Volunteer Week.
Investing in our Communities
Last year, Schwab employees volunteered 27,000+ hours to hundreds of nonprofits, helping to lift people out of poverty and improve their financial well-being.

Michelle Vanhof, Schwabbie since 2009
In her earlier days at Schwab, Michelle worked as a volunteer during Schwab Volunteer Week and moved on to leading volunteer teams. She has served as the lead Schwab Volunteer Week coordinator for Schwab’s Phoenix campuses for the last four years, and participation there has since doubled. Michelle is expecting more than 1,200 Phoenix Schwabbies to give their time and talent back to their communities this May.
