Shannon is responsible for Human Resources, Corporate Affairs, and Real Estate, responsible for building a highly capable, engaged, and high-performing workforce, and cultivating a strong culture. 

Prior to joining Schwab in 2025, Shannon served as Chief Human Resources Officer at Texas Capital Bank in Dallas and at Celanese Corporation in Irving, TX, and previously held senior HR leadership roles at Bank of America and Dell. She has deep experience managing all aspects of HR for publicly-traded companies—strategically organizing around firm priorities, developing and rewarding employees, and building and sustaining strong, vibrant cultures. 

Shannon was named to the list of Top 15 Business Women in Dallas by the National Women’s Council in 2018 and to the Power 50 by the Texas Diversity Council. She earned a master’s degree from St. Edwards University in Austin, TX, and holds a bachelor’s degree from Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, TX.
