2024 Independent Advisor Outlook Study

The story of the RIA industry in 2024 is one of complexity but also vibrancy, shaped by creativity, healthy competition, and growing client demand for the fiduciary model.

Key findings

  • Technology plays a role in virtually every strategic decision advisors make.
  • Advisors are excited about the possibilities presented by AI while still proceeding with caution.
  • The RIA value proposition remains strong for advisors and clients alike, but the industry will need to continually innovate to stay ahead of
traditional channels – especially as the Great Wealth Transfer commences.
